  • Marking on nitro

I know its safe to use Sharpie on poly, done it many a time, but Im sure its safe on nitro if even the case can discolor it. I want to mark where the neck pickup volume is at, as I want it there all the time, I like the sound. The guitar doesnt have the pointers under the knob though. Is there something I can mark on nitro with that wont harm the finish? Id like to be able to just glance down at it and determine the knob is where its supposed to be.

I wonder if those rub on transfer decals would work without damaging the finish?

I'd just get some pointers myself.

        Where can you get them?
