    As mentioned, here's part 2 of my fretting videos. Thanks to KE for getting me started on frets. As always, there's a bunch of different ways to do something; here's what I do.

        Another good vid. You're right--there are different ways to do frets. I plan on using a Dremel tool with buffing compound and machine glaze to polish the frets. I made a triangle file a few months ago like the one you showed. From what I've heard crowning files aren't a necessity.

            Thanks for watching the video! One thing about crowning, tho; if you're left with just flats on the tops of the fret, it'll mess with your intonation and cause a fair amount of buzzing overtones. It's worth the time to do it, for sure.
