  • Rhoads Professional EX Faulty Volume pot. Which Pot to replace it?

some bozo grounded some wires right where it says the OHMS on the Pot.

i do not know the value of the pot but your gonna need a soldering iron anyway to resolder the wires ,so you can either just remove the solder and find out or get an ohm meter and read between first and third leg,(direction does not matter
my guess is its a 250k ohm ...but might be a 500k its gonna be one or the other

ok i see two 00's but any other numbers are covered.

i tried to move the solder with an iron, but a thin film of it just would not come off, about 1/10 mm thick. so i couldnt see

        solder wick to remove film
if you see the 0's its prolly a 500k,
since your gonna repalce it take it up to a local music shop they'll test it and sell you a new one.
or go to radio shack, computer repair place, they'll tell you the value but will not have a replacement
go to pawn shop and ~test a multimeter~ order one online
