  • A New Nut?

I currently own a 2003 Zakk Wylde Epiphone Les Paul in mint shape all but the nut. It was purchased brand new played very little and a 1 owner guitar. The owner however decided to replicate Zakk's signature Gibson Les Paul by switching out the EMG H4 set to the active 81 & 85 (which is a good thing), and by filing the low E nut slot deeper and wider to accommodate Zakks signature 10-60 string set. Doing so he went to deep and wide, so he filled the nut slot with crazy glue and refiled it again also in the wrong fashion because this Low E string buzzes like crazy. He got disgusted with it and sold it to me. I can get a bone nut replacement carved from a blank and filed for $49.00. Or as some people say Refill and Refile. What should I do?
I put most psychiatrists on the couch.

Second the new nut. Also wire up the 81/85 set for 18v.
