Has anyone had experience with Bartolini guitar pickups? They sound intriguing, but I've never seen or played a guitar set up with them, and I can not find any sound samples anywhere. I am thinking about a pickup change, looking at everyone from Seymour Duncan to Dimarzio to Floyd Rose to Gibson to BareKnucles and so on, and I'm curious about these pickups.

I have a single coil I use in the neck pos of an ash-bodied guitar. Bartolini pups are known to be quiet and somewhat sterile sounding. I'm impressed with the Strat tone it produces when I use the distortion channel, but it sounds pretty bad through the clean channel. The one I have is non-tabbed--not sure if that's the way they all are.
