  • Refin Prices

How much does it usually cost to refin a neck trough guitar? In the event that I dont get the shot at my friends guitars, I still plan on buying one or two with the money that Ill have raised. Ive found a KE2 in decent condition for $800, but I dont know if Id be able to handle the graphic for very long (blue bengal), so I might consider a solid color refin or pass all together despite the good price. If a refin could still keep me under a grand, then I may consider it more in depth.

Also, on the other side of this equation Ive also got my eye on a Kelly Pro (neck through) with a killer finish, are there any major quality differences between a Kelly Pro and a KE2?

PRO bodies are usually poplar, USA Selects after 1999 or so are alder...

That may sway me more towards the Pro then, I love the weight and sustain I get from my 96 KE3.
