  • WTF is a Jackson JT585 Bridge?

I thought we only had jt580s.. I'm trying to find a replacement saddle for my low profile jt580 but only ones I could find online are listed as jt585 saddles. I have no idea what the heck that is..

    http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Genuine-Jack...#ht_2155wt_905

It does look like it should fit, but I'm not really sure.

Has anybody heard of them? Will that saddle fit my jt580, any ideas?

    Thanks..

I thought this was a Want To Fuck ad. Guess not I never heard of a JT-585.

Probably just a 580 and they put 585 by mistake or don't really know the model number.

I think it's the newer version. There was a JT585LP auctioned on ebay last week and I asked the guy selling it if he could get me a JT580LP and he said they don't make it anymore. I checked Fender's website and they have parts listed for the JT585LP. I called Fender and asked if the JT580LP is interchangeable with the JT585LP but the guy didn't know. My guitar is a few weeks old, it was ordered from Fender by the music store, so I assume it has a new JT585LP. I don't know... I'm confused too. Jackson really needs to update their site and not only the pictures but the specs on the guitars.

Looks like we have to learn about a new JT tremolo. Maybe a dressed down JT-580LP, God forbid

Well thanks for the info. I guess I'll just have to ask to the Ebay guy again, but I don't trust him to be honest

There is no mistake. Jackson JT-585 bridge made in Korea and they are used on all the JS series models that use double locking tremolos.
That is the answer from official Jackson support.
This info also confirmed by this site https://guitarinside.com/Jackson_Dinky_JS32

Jackson uses a Jackson branded Floyd Rose Special on the JS32 series guitars. Not sure if the part number is JT-585, but it would make sense. There is no LP version anymore.
X series use a Floyd Rose branded Floyd Rose Special.
Pro series use Floyd Rose FRT 0x000 series trems.

X series optionally featured Floyd Rose Special (by Floyd Rose co), yes. This fact mention on official guitar info pages as 'Floyd Rose® Special Double-Locking Tremolo' (for example: https://www.jacksonguitars.com/gear/...nsparent-black).

But this option not exists for JS series (https://www.jacksonguitars.com/gear/...ard-satin-gray)
In this way - 'Floyd Rose® Licensed Jackson® Double Locking Tremolo' - JT-585
