  • Pickups ID help (big post)

Ive acquired a few used pups through the years and have been trying to find out what they are.
I looked on Dimarzio & Duncan sites, but I'm still not sure what I have. Ideas?
    Any help appreciated.

    Dimarzio #1, reads 28.0

    Dimarzio #2, reads 9.16

    Duncan, reads 9.08

    Unmarked, reads 8.78

    Also,
    EMG EQ circuit- SPC,RPC,EXG ?
    Models
The prudes may snub them, but I don't care.
    I dont need furniture.
If its tough, shreds, and screams, Its all good.
If it gets jacked, I'll get another one.
    And rock that sucker.

    Oh you are Tricky

    1. Did you check the DiMarzio website to see which pickup comes closest to matching the DC resistance?

    2. I'll guess DiMarzio 2 is a Super 2.

    3. I'll guess the Duncan is a 59 Bridge.

    4. Unmarked can be anything.

    5. I'd guess an SPC but it's been years since I wired one in my Kelly Star.

N 2 is from an Ernie Ball EVH that I do know.
Unmarked looks like a smooth bobbin Schaller form a Kramer.
Duncan looks like its a 59 out of a Kramer as well due to the 3 hole base plate tabs.
DiMarzio 2 is in the PAF range at that K so a PAF pro or PAF Joe.Having two rows of adj pole pieces.
      Really? well screw Mark Twain.

The 3 holes are what they use on trem-spaced pups.

the #1 DiMarzio has (H 2) stamped on the back.
I did buy it new/retail, in the early 90s and put it in a white Strat.
I pulled it out a long time ago when I sold the Strat.
Ya know, I don't think the box was marked with a model number when I bought it.
Maybe it was a custom order that just wasn't picked up.
