  • exposed wire for grounding

I just saw a setup where instead of insulated wire, they used just a wire (about the thickness of a paper clip) and had it going to all four pots and then to a group screw. Is this an ok method of grounding? The fact that it's a bare wire?

i can see where it would make life a lot easier in some ways, but not sure it's a good idea.

    thanks

Seen from a grounding perspective, it's perfectly OK.

When involved in a group screw, I would not keep my wire bare.

I thought bare (bear) wire is what you used to make a fence around your property to keep hairy ghey men like Ron away from your house. Sorry Ron, couldnt help myself.
