  • shortened Floyd string clamp screws

Posted a while ago about my OFR string screw hitting the edge of the rout because the intonating required the saddle be that far back. (double checked it with a new E string-- same issue) Someone suggested getting shorter screws. Any one know where I could get some of these? I know the Schaller lic'd trems have the shorter ones (as well as different look) and with no other options, I'll go there but I'd rather get one that is similar to the stock OFR screw. Any ideas?

The Schaller screws are also much thicker and won't fit through the slots on the base plate IIRC.

I don't know where to buy screws like this or if you can for sure, but I'm all ears if someone else does.
