  • Show your D.I.Y. Bengal Paintjob.

Please show some examples/variations of D.I.Y. Bengal projects, I'm thinking of doing one but just curious to see other peoples results.

I did mind with a buddy that paints cars. Its all automotive paint and clear coat. I prepped it, and laid out the stripe masking. he sprayed it and buffed it. I think it came out decent. an old charvel fusion refinished.

I'll just say take your time and do it right. I did a Bengal 3-4 times on the same guitar trying to get it right. I'll probably do some more. Sorry, no pic for now.

Here's a pretty cool Bengal Mutt I did for a customer. Tele body, 80's Schecter reverse strat headstock, Floyd bridge, righty tuners on a lefty neck - an ultimate mutt guitar.

Yup....The customer sent me the templates and tips on doing the white on the sides. I'm not one for the rattle cans, but Jon at PYOG has great tips.
