model 1 neck plate?

Is the neck plate screw hole spacing on a model 1 the same as a fender strat?

I cant find any Model series neck plates on ebay, so i was thinking of just getting a black strat one.

yes, the screws however had bigger threads. Not sure if this will be an issue.
