  • King V Parts Question

Hello Everyone, new member here, looking for some help.

I have a King V (KV2T) with a fixed bridge. I am looking and changing the hardware from black to chrome. My question is, in regards to the small "black" metal holes that are fixed to the body that the strings go thru on the front of the guitar (see pic below).

How can I uninstall these. Basically, I already have another guitar which has all chrome hardware, same bride and parts so I wanted to take the one set from guitar and swap with the other (if that makes sense?).

    Thanks.

Well, I don't know how to remove these, but the technical name is ferrule, maybe you can do a search for ferrule - I'm pretty sure methods have been discussed...

I'd suggest a Pin Punch of whatever diameter the holes are closest to, then go in from the bottom and slowly tap them out with that.

1/8" might be the right size.
