  • Oil tint on raw maple...

I've used Boiled Linseed & Clear Watco Danish Oil on my raw maple necks in the past and although subtle they always seem to permanently change the tint of the wood. I have not tried Tru Oil yet. I am wondering if anybody here can say which one of these 3 seem to leave the least amount of tint. I really love the raw maple color on the necks.

    Thanks

Birchwood Casey tru oil will darken over time and but not all that much.Depends on how often you treat the neck with it.
I treat mine maybe once a year and they aren't all that dark.
    Really? well screw Mark Twain.
