  • 650 XL Trem Swap help

Ok I just got my 650xl. I would like to add the D-tuna to this as it is probably going to be my main guitar. It has the JT-590. While my funds are running low I am wondering if I can just buy a OFR Bridge and arm only kit and use with the rest of the hardware?

Any one have any thoughts on this?

CAn you try just adding the D tune to the schaller and use the short bolt that comes with it?

The trem has the fat bolts so the D-Tuna will not work. It is an 89 I believe as the serial starts with c8.Dive only is ok . Also I am thinking about switching the trem and tuners to gold. The body is the Magenta color. I am colorblind so I dont know if this would work or not. I just think it would look unique.

I had one of those Musicyo Kramers that came woth the D-tuna. The design is the "same" as the schaller. Same fat screws on the back. The d-tuna will work on a schaller. You'll have to use the shorter bolt that comes with the kit.
          It's pronounced soops

I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it 84. I think I may have heard someone say that the smaller bolts will move around in there. Since the OFR bridge would still be an upgrade I may still do it if it will work.
