Best place for refinish?

Hey all! been along time since I posted..

I was thinking about having my kv-1 refinished in metallic silver.
What is the best place that you guys know of to send it to?

Marty's good, but you need to make sure that you spec the body is prepped properly. I sent him a strat body which had a scrap' on the top horn, and at certain angles you could still see the 'shadow' of it when he was done.

I had Dan refinish my Model 5 and it came out great so I would recommend his work. Have been thinking of sending my other Model 5 that needs some work and a refinish to Mike Learn since I have heard nothing but good things about his work.

Mike Learn: Learn Guitars

It just so happens Mike did a refinish on a KV just last week and has another in the shop right now that is getting its new paint today.

Here is the one that is complete:

This one had a cracked neck for repair. The design is one that I did for NAMM a few years ago, but was never put on the guitar. It was one of the worst Jacksons I have had in here. It had 2 factory finishes on it. Paint was so thick, it needed to be re routed in a couple of spots.

Ready to pimp now.
