    anyone know the value of this pot off the tops of their heads?
    250/500/1 meg?

      It's a 50k pot, audio taper. I believe you can also use a 25K if you have a hard time finding a 50k pot. GPD has them:

      -edit, just to be clear in case I'm wrong about which pot you mean- the pot mounted to the board is the volume pot and it's 50k audio. The midboost control pot (usually the third pot, closest to the jack) is 50k linear. Tone is 250k on most of the guitars with the midboost.

          Yes I meant the one closest to the input jack.
          I'm going to pull it and go with an Sh-5 and a lil 59er in the neck
          with no boost.
          If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?
