  • Blackouts and EMGs

Are Blackouts directly swappable with EMGs? I noticed they both use a 3 pin molex type conector.

I was curious of this question too. I thought about getting a set of Blackouts but would be pretty mad if I decided I liked them better since a vast majority of my guitars have EMG's.

Yep, they use the same quick connectors. Just plug and play!

If the two are interchangeable I wonder if anyone has tried both at the same time?Like a Blackout in the bridge with an EMG in the neck or the other way around.

Yep, ran a 60 in the neck and the BO neck in the bridge and it didnt sound bad at all actually.....But I still dont like either of them at this point.
