    Choosing pickups for my Warrior Pro

    The Super Distortion humbucker and bezel (surround plate) have been removed and holes filled with epoxy. I am now looking to get 3 Hot Rails installed. I'm looking at these Fast Track 2's:

    The guy doing the restoration has said Dimarzio can custom make them so the arched plates at the bottom can be changed so there arn't any problems slotting them into the pickup routes.

    Thoughts or alternative suggestions as to the pickups I'm considering? BTW, the 5-way switch and JE1500 will remain installed.

    The Super D didn't sound good?

      I have a Super D in another Warrior and it's midrange sounds shrill.

        SD JB Jr in the first bridge slot (closest to bridge)
        SD HotRails(N) in the 2nd slot
        SD Lil59 in the neck

                have you considered actives? like the SD Blackouts single AS-1

                I have no experience with dimarzios, so cannot comment here
