  • Intonating a Floyd

I got this thing called the key to intonate a Floyd with, but it only works on original Floyds, is there anything available to use on the Jackson low profile trems?

Your hand? Honestly, I doubt there will be an intonation tool made only for the Jackson floyds, but I've always set the intonation manually and it's been fine.

I haven't used it yet, but doesn't it take the guess work out of it by letting you set it while the tension is still on the string?

Yeah, very true. Maybe it will work(?) I've heard it only works on an OFR but I could be wrong, I've never used one, but I wish you the best man.

The key for the OFR is indeed very handy but truth be told just doing it by hand may well be just as fast after a few times.

I did my new PC1 yesterday and did it all by hand within ten minutes at best.
