Question for the paint/finish experts here - what kind of paint and what technique is used to achieve the below finish:

I think it was the 'Barf & Buff' method.

paint it a bunch of colors, sand off 95% of the finish in random spots and then clear coat

Looks almost like spalted maple with a some red stain added to it.

appears to be paint/stain dripped and spattered on raw wood, then after a little time so it would leave a outline, wiped off then most likely lightly sanded and cleared, blah , blah , blah

Picked a few scabs and rubbed himself on the guitar?

It looks like paint was dripped on the raw body and then someone blew through a straw to smear the paint.
