  • Floyd Rose XFRT100

I recently came across this tremolo which looks like exact replica of a Schaller unit for less than 30 bucks. Please share any experience if you already used any of these.

    Thanks

Buy one and let us know how it works out for ya. Judging solely by price I'm guessing it's made out of quality material at the hands of a master craftsman.

I couldn't tell how thick the base plate is on the trem from the pic posted on the website. It might be ok and if you swapped the pot metal block for a brass block it might actually sound pretty good. At least it's not the version that uses the ball ends of the strings to hold the strings in place and the price is fair. You might pay $50 on ebay for the same thing.

SOUTHEAST MUSIC, an eBay store sells a similar one for a little more $. I got a gold one years ago and it'll work, but only in a home made guitar. JT-500 is way better.

That one on ebay really isn't the same. Plate looks stamped as the other looks cast. And it's shaped like a JT580.
