charvel model 3 floyd rose set up,

Hi can anyone tell me what height from the body to set j-46 floyd rose from my model3 charvel so its a low action but not to low I dont want it to choke or rattle!, I am in the process of restoring it and had to take it completly off for cleaning purposes,

You don't set the bridge to a particular height in its own right because individual guitars - even same model - will vary a lot. You set it to achieve a particular action (i.e. the gap between the strings and the frets). If you therefore set it to get about 1.2mm between 12th fret and high E, and about 1.5mm on the low E (hold down or capo the strings at first fret while you do this) you should be in the ballpark. Then it's up to you to get the right balance between fret buzz and tone which depends on how you play.
