Hi there.
Got myself a Fusion HH a couple of months ago - great guitar. It was fitted with a EMG 85 in the bridge, but it did not suit my style of playing. So have removed, replacing with a J-50B originally from a 1990 Fusion PRO. While fitting I noticed the neck pickup is a JH-3 (hand written sticky label), which I initially though nothing of, as unfamiliar with that Pickup.
Please can you guys advise on the JH-3 (is it any good, sound, strengths, weaknesses), as checking through previous posts there is a lot of information on the JH-2, but not the JH-3.
Am I correct thinking that the JH-3 is supposed to be positioned in the bridge anyway? (I think the previous owner may have moved it up when installing the EMG).
I am finding the J-50B a bit muddy and was thinking of giving the JH-3 a go in the bridge. If so will the J-50B be okay in the neck position?
