Chainsaw Case Latches??? Replacement pieces?
I have a few chainsaw type cases that have the butterfly latches. On one of them, there are a few missing top and bottom. Where might I find replacement latches to further secure the guitar in it's case? A luggage shop or something?

Great question, I have a "chainsaw" Charvel case that's missing a latch. I would love to find a replacement. I have searched the web and also some hardware and luggage stores by me with no luck. Hope someone knows of a place to get these!

We had a local Army surplus store that had them but it has since closed so check one in your location cant hurt to check.The ones I saw were SKB latches.The Army used them on electrical equipment transport cases and M60 barrel cases.

They are somteims called militray latches, quarter-turn latches, or twist latches. I use them, all the time, at my job.
