I just learned it. Im game, what are the rules? Feels good to finally learn it, feels like some kind of closure. Ive loved the song for years but never brought myself to really sit down and learn it. A few years ago, the solos wouldve been out of the question anyhow, the first solo Ive got 80% from memory so far.
EDIT: P.S. Anyone here got just the drum tracks?Last edited by Twitch; 01-30-2012 at 10:40 PM.

Thanks Nimzy, consider the drums tracks laid down. Gotta love the recording from the internal mixdown option. If anyone wants the track for jamming to, PM me.

Oh dear, I'm afraid I don't have a guitar in standard tuning, nor do I care to :'(

I'm not familiar with the song but it sound alright to me. The bends sounded very "Kirk authentic".
I agree with Bill - some judiciously applied vibrato would add some colour & flavourHail yesterday

The bends are rough but I think you already know that.

Like others are saying here, play with some fire!!
Don’t worry so much about playing note for note…..try playing it “feel for feel”….if that makes sense….I usually worry more about the groove now and the feel of the solo....I learned long ago that when I played lets say...vai or Van Halen....note for note...NO ONE CARED !!...or a least very few....just my 2 cents...
Good job dude….-Now....shut up n play yer guitar

I like this one better, the bass isn't so loud. Just a pity it's shit quality.

Nice right hand technique, minimal movement... BUT, for G`d's sake man - DIG IN TO IT!!!!! Give the pup's something to amplify \m/(>.<)\m/
I didn't make it to the solos, setting here with my wife and all..... Good show for what I watched, but give it hell.... the guitar is meant to treated with some aggression at least when playing something heavy!
Cheers~ Is going to finger kelly for a while ~
