Hi Adam,
That's great to know
Does your case look like this

or

Thanks

Yep it sure does. Looks like the Jackson cases (sans Jackson logo course) that I've been getting for my King Vs lately. The official Jackson case (and I'm gonna go out omna limb here) is made by SKB as well. Not sure if that's true but they do look alike. The only noticeable difference to me is, aside from Jackson logo on the outside of the case missing, is that the SKB it's carved out for roundhorn horns. The Jackson is pointy only.
Hope this helps!- Adam

I saw a king v case on the Nashville Craig's List yesterday. 40 bucks! No affiliation with the seller.

Please let us know if you get that SKB and how it works out. There have been a ton of people looking for cases for those damn YK's. They must be the most sold USA select guitars without a case.

Just a quick update... I will post photos of the Y2KV in the SKB case so that everyone can get a view for themselves. It actually fits rather nice... Like they had it in mind during product development. I'm on the road until Thursday night so I will take and post photos then

Glad to help! I will make a note of that model number just in case this comes up again on the forum. At least we have proof it fits. And thats a plus for a guitar this old and was only made for so long.
Enjoy the new guitar!- Adam

Got the guitar yesterday. Many thanks to Adam for sharing the information and help. However, the case is still a little bit too big for the guitar. I will keep on checking other cases which suit better later on. Pics will follow
