New here. Just saying Hi
I'm primarily a bassist, but play guitar as well. My main bass for years (before I started to go for more strings) was a Jackson 'Professional' Kip Winger.
Here it is. Serial number J101019

I remember buying it and having a choice between this one and a USA model with abalone inlays and EMG's. This one sounded so much better so this is the one which i bought!
It's just a great feeling bass and even though it has a strange pickup setup, with active pickups and a passive tone control, it's a bass I'd never sell !

Thanks for the welcome !
I really like the lacewood. When I had a custom bass built it had to have a lacewood top. Luckily, they had a couple of boards in stock.

Both of those tops are amazing. Very nice, and I'm not a bass guy!

Nice bass', welcome! Just to get it out of the way now, GTWGITS means, get the whole guitar in the shot. RacerX is a stickler for that, and grammar

I know this is going to be grabbed and ran with by someone on here but I gotta say it. You have great taste in wood. Beautiful, just beautiful.

another bassplayer? maybe in 15 years we will outnumber the guitarplayers here. I never had a KW, just a couple of Futuras....
I actually liked the 92's better with the 4knob active and kahler bridge, but always loved the lacewood tops as well
