    Default DXMG neck with a metallic black / dark dark purple headstock?

    I bought this neck sometime ago. Just trying to figure out what color the body might have been. The neck is inked DXMG 2005 8 15 I think, so that would make it from August 2005. Any idea of the body color? I've only seen black and gunmetal grey. Did the GMG body come with a metallic black headstock?

    Though mine is a couple of years newer, my GMG DXMG has a regular black headstock. Maybe the neck is from a limited run?

    Actually it's darker than that. Looks black unless you look closely.

    It is a DXMG neck. I'm just trying to figure out what body color this was mated to.
