I have a silver sparkle RR. These guitars are super awesome. The ebony looks and feels very high quality, really dark, almost pitch black. The inlays look way nicer than on the photos, very shiny. Overall quality and sound is awesome and it feels like a steal for 1000 euros. Get one asap they seem to move fast and with chushin gakki closing doors this is the end of the line for japanese Jacksons. The 9v block is for a mid boost/sustainer controlled by the third knob. Yup guitar stays mute without the battery.

So are these the last to come out of Chushin Gakki? If so I might have to grab one. I found a silver KV Elite, so I'm THIS close..... gotta have it. It seems to be the only color those inlays look decent on. The black model KV may not be too bad either, but this silver has got my attention big time. I don't need to be buying any more KVs, but man this is hard to resist!

Drum City/Guitar Land are still listing a Black Pinstripe RRT and case for $1300 odd. Does that mean its still available? Quality guitar, really, really tempted. Its a new RR1T, maybe even better than some, in Japanese clothing.

You can't really be jealous of something you can't fathom.

I found a silver KV Elite. I also found an old Mustaine KV Pro in silver sparkle. Looks to be in good shape. Close to same price. Someone help me decide! hahahha. I'm not a fan of that chrome hardware but something about that guitar is calling me! GAS I say! GAS!!!!!
PLUS I think these are the last we'll see out of the factory there...
Sad to say...

Any news available about the Elite-Series? I've heard that only few colors are limited and the others will remain as a new standard series?
If that would be true, who builts them as Gakki is supposed to be closed?
