    Default Any new production 8 string Jackson or Charvels?

    Saw the $4k custom shop 8 string. Any idea if they are going to do a production import version?

    Very much doubt it since they recently discontinued the only 7-string production import guitar they were manufacturing.
    It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

    Rumor is that they will have a new production 7 strings SLH2 type import thing and also the Chris Broderick 7 string import. Some dude over at sevenstring.org who seemed to have gotten some information implied it at least.

    So no 8 string then? I will be buying a Carvin 8 string then if nothing from J/C.
