I've seen them live a couple of times, and seen the live DVDs and stuff and don't remember seeing him playing a bunch of sonic wankery. And Mutt hasn't been producing their albums for YEARS, yet there's been practically no shredding on them either.
If only what you said was true, DL would be a much better band these days! More sonic wankery is needed badly.

PC Supreme?
PC Sub-par, more like it
The body isn't that bad, but the headstock kills it all by itself

has this turdmobile made it to production yet? I hear those galactic clown puke models are getting lonely on the shelves, perhaps these models can keep them company??

The thing isn't the prettiest guitar I've ever seen but it should sound good with what it's made of.
I want to go out nice and peaceful in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming and hollering like the passengers in his car.

If it aint broke don't fix it, I rather see a pc1 with a reverse strat head and ebony fretboard, pearl vintage logo. That headstock sucks.

IF you'd rather see a PC-1, just buy one. They're not stopping production on them are they? I think this is just something a bit different for Phil to play with. I would buy a PC-1 over that any day, but people buy all sorts of ugly ass guitars - I mean who would ever pay money because they like how any Gretsch guitar looks?

Guess that's why they make different models, because different people like different things.

I still think new EVH guitar is the fugliest signiture ever. But hey, I guess Ed cannot do anything without someone trying to outdo him...
Jackson Black SL2HT, Jackson Trans Blue SL2H, Jackson Adrian Smith white with ebony board, ESP KH-2 Caution Hot, Gibson Les Paul Custom aged white, Fender American Strat.

Eh, Ed's guitar is pretty much the same as it's always been (sans a few small changes, mostly with the headstock), but it's grown on me a little. I wouldn't buy one, but if I was given one I'd play it. Still doesn't hold a candle to his Frankenstrat though.
As for Phil's new model...I still think it's ugly as hell. Love the PC-1, but this one can quietly fade away.
