New Phil Collen model for 2011? Teaser Pic inside!
I saw this on his website, not sure if this has already been discussed or not...

I believe that is the "Supreme" or something like that.
The headstock looks hideous.
Looks like an EVH design reject.-Rick

JCF Merciless Commitee strikes again. Can the commitee provide a full picture of the rejected item in question?

I quite like it. Jackson needs something different. I hear there's a Chris Broderick signature Jackson to be announced at Namm.
Wish I had a SL1

So it's a Les Paul style singlecut but with a mini upper cutout so it's "supreme" ?

Sad really.....
I am a mega fan of the PC1 guitars as well as the Collen Archtop's. The Splatter guitar was a total bomb and this will be received like a wet fart as well if you ask me!
Do the Jackson reps not take input from say dealers and customers? NOBODY asked for that pile of crap! It's gonna be the "Yugo" of Jackson guitars.
Why not release another Archtop with say a sustainer? Or a black hardware PC1 without the middle pup and with sharkfins? THAT would sell no?
Even Phil's Custom Shop Jackson Tele with the P-90's would have been a cool NAMM release.
Sigh........

Makes me think of a Gibson SG revisited by BC Rich... shape I dislike by manufacturer I dislike

After checking the vid of this new model, I can say that....
I think the JCF Merciless Commitee is helplessly stuck in the 80'ies pointy heavy metal era and cannot cope with anything new or progressively different. Narrow minded bunch of grumpies...
Having said that, how can I apply for the Merciless Commitee? The guitar is hideous!

Wow, yeah that thing looks like poo! I remember seeing that video a few weeks back, but I never thought it was a Jackson!

Well, after seeing the video, I can say the body is not that bad but also not too attractive either, however, the headstock should have been the regular pointy one to insinuate that it's a bad ass. IMO the guitar in it's current state is awkward looking for the Jackson brand!
