What Charvel Bass is this?

Got this Bass from Ebay cheap (250€) a few months ago.

I think it was made in Japan, but thats the only thing I was able to research.

I really like it and will keep it.

1989 850 XL I believe....nice score, I hope to have one of my own one day.

nice dark blue 850.. the last gasp effort on the part of Charvel Japan based on the excellent neckthru model 3b before they stopped making them.

i just bought a used 3-b from my local guitar center. its blue just like this one, with the neck-thru as well.. it is absolutely beautiful.

ya just the wings are cut differently but identical in everything else

I'd love to find one in any color but red and I'd toss one of my 3b's on ebay for some quick cash ...lol
