Whoa - first post in the Bass section!

Looks like a C-series, 5-string, J and P style p/u's, sharkies, gumby h/s, natural finish. Don't have a pic yet. Sound familiar to anyone?

Sharkies on a gumbystock.....make no mistake, its a Charvette lol. Charvel/Chevrolet...Charvette/Corvette.

Thanks for the pic Nor...Rick Savage from Def Leppard and Jackson have (rumored) to be working on a Savage signature bass and that looks alot like it. Where did you find that bass? Im jealous, nice bass!

ya that's what it looks like, a concert with a sharkneck, and model? who knows vains link shows the same thing but with 2 hb and not pj...could be like the JPB series "different trim levels"

all the other c5 series gumbys are always dots and my opinion? gumbyhead with fins --oh god!
even Rickenbacker heads look cool with fins, but a gumby --eww!
all they had to do was redo the c5 from the 90's as one choice of 5er's, and a gumby with dots from the old school c5A series for the others who choose not to like points.

it is nice looking though beyond that as I like natural finish basses also.

I like that thing, but only for the weirdness considering it is a natural finish and a 5string. I'm not ready to dump my C5 pointy just yet for something like that though so wherever it is being sold, you still got a chance at it.....

well if you build one, you can always look around for a 5string shark neck and fit it to a body of your choice

of course if a 4stringer is "you", you could always look for an old C5
