There ya go for the folks that don't like a middle pickup on a PC1! 30, hmm, could be expensive? I actually eye'd that one first and wondered if that was a Phil special.

$5500 for the guitar. Nice piece but I'm not a fan of rev Strat headstocks.
But I'm really not a fan of spending $5500 for a guitar.
Who am I kidding? If I had the money, I would so buy one.

Looks better now that it's finished and has the glossy coat, but still not worth $5500.

Maybe there is hope they will do a custom shop similar to that one after all without the graphic.
I'll be asking tomorrow.

It seemed kinda strange that Phil made a comment about Jackson having these all painted up - I thought the point was that Phil did the splatter / japanese characters?

I dunno know.....
I am a huge fan of Phil and his original Jackson's (Crackle, Bela etc...) and very much a fan of his PC1's too but I just can not get over that new guitar he is holding.
It's just so 80's and so unoriginal.
Just seems to me that there were so many other great guitars to choose from and they went with that piece of turd.

Vklobucar, how ya been?
Yeah I'm torn on the guitar. Not that i'm in any position to own one. But I dig it, especially the pickup layout and ( yes ) the graphic. But the rev strat headstock is something I've never liked.

It's actually very close to something I might spec on a custom shop order, except without the sustainer, and with a full set of inlays (and a different paint job.)

I think my Adrenalize PC kills this...this is so not worth 5500.

Bryan!
Doing great!
Kinda reminds me of those japanese squire strats with the reverse headstock and overall look.
Still say yuck!

I talked to Phil today. He said he's going to jam tomorrow about 1 pm for anyone that will be at NAMM and is interested.

Did the girl ask one relevant question? I think Phil had to share the details unprompted because she was so clueless...
