  • 96' Jackson blond natural soloist...$1000

Got a chance to play a 96' Jackson soloist..blond natural body and
neck, with a clear coat over everything. What a wonderful player!
Looks like this one is going to come home with me! $1000.00
but dead mint. Is this a pretty good deal? Beautiful tiger striped
wood, with typical sharks and binding is perfect. Your thoughts?

Sounds good to me, though many here will probably say it's overpriced.

I think the price is right if not good You don't see many USA Jacksons under 1k so you can't go wrong with a mint one for 1000$

With current prices on new J/Cs being what they are, a mint `96 Soloist for a grand sounds like a winner to me. Sure, you still see USAs for less than that sometimes on eBay, but if you got to play this guitar and KNOW that it's mint, you can spare yourself the potential headaches of bargain shopping online.

I agree %110, being able to play the guitar is worth alot because even if you know the model, you might just not like the individual example.

Plus compared to 900 for an SL3:

            $1,000 for a USA is a steal!

It's got my vote too - a fair price. Congrats!

I think it's time to say "Buy it and post the pics" . Sounds like a good deal.

Well, if you're not going to buy it. Perhaps someone else here will. Still think it's a good deal. I'm not in the market but maybe a fellow JCF'er will snag it.
