  • KnE Guitar Bodies: Anyone Have Opinion?

I'm thinking about ording an ash guitar body from KnE guitars (their "San D" model). KnE prices are about 40% cheaper than a Musikraft body with the same specs. I've order Musikraft bodies/necks in the past and have been satisfied, but KnE prices have me tempted.

Anyone have an opinion, or experience with, KnE products? I haven't found much in terms or reviews about them. thanks for any help.

haven't tried them, but have you checked out our very own mojobodies? denny does kickass work; the body (and neck) i have from his is very resonant.

I painted one for a friend. The body was very well made. It had a direct mount slanted pickup and the neck pocket was angled for a floating Floyd Rose. All of the dimensions were perfect - no neck shims and the Floyd floated perfectly about 0.090" from the body. Really a nice body for ~$110.00.

I have been looking at those too. If I hadn't found a mighty mite quilt top body with bridge and pots I would have bought a 2 hum hardtail SD body for a project.
If they get good reviews I know my what my next project will be.

Thanks for the input. I think I'm going to give KnE a shot for this project. Mitch seems pretty responsive, and I haven't heard or read bad things. And I'm looking to keep this guitar in a reasonable price range, when all is said and done. I'll consider Mojobodies for my next, next project (there's always one more on the horizon).
