  • Jackson Warbird King V pics and video!

    I cleaned this one yesterday and decided to take some pics. This guitar's history is special for two reasons - it's the 90-91 catalog guitar AND it has been played in front of the Jimi Hendrix family by Jack Falk.

            It was some sort of competition / tribute thing. Jack told me about it via email when I got the guitar. I also found this pic somewhere:

                Great looking guitar.. and did you read the comments on your video link.. Holy shit this is what our country has to look forward too..                     Sweet looking V you got there...one question though...what is the third cavity on the back for? one for volume and tone...one for the trem...the other for?

                              Awesome guitar, but I can't help but wonder what were Jackson thinking with the colour scheme. I also wonder why the panel lines and rivets are only in the blue sections, and not the green splotches. I wonder if they added them as an afterthought.
