  • Custom select run from authorised dealer

Dear all i have encounter a typical run of CS from rainbow guitars... it features a raw unfinished neck with a 3 way blade switch instead of toggle and a volume knob only...

I wonder these custom select job were only done by specific few builder off from Jackson guitars who were assigned for these special custom select or there be regular jackson builders attending to these build other than the few luthier who be always assigned to build these lovely guitars ?

Custom Select are built by the same guys that do the US Select guitars. That said, it seems fairly 'hands on' over there and so sometimes the Masterbuilders get involved in a small way..
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

+1. Sometimes master builders are involved for doing special or non-typical spec requests. And sometimes, they may just be helping out to get production done regardless.

          I can chime in here...

I bought a similar sounding soloist from Rainbow Guitars a couple of years ago. Dealer order from Rainbow (only two were ordered/made), pretty sure they'll be treated like regular select models - Mike Shannon hand carved the heel - I've heard some of you guys around here call it the Pablo cut?
