USA. No idea when but fairly recently.
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

      The seller told me 2013.
Can you confirm me it's not a import guitar from indonesia or mexique ?
      U = Urugway or Uchoacan ?

Yeah, that looks like a legit SL2H, plus the seller's feedback is really good so I'd say you are safe.

25680 should fall towards the end of 2013. The seller may have the original hang-tag with the date written on it.

U253XX is July 2013 according to my small list of USA numbers.
            96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

I know that this may be counterproductive...

If you have an SL2H, where else would it have been made?
If it wasn't made in the USA, it wasn't an SL2H.

There was a japanese made "SL2H" though. It was a Sam Ash limited run and also had an arch top. This was around the time when they really started to fuck up the model designations.

I was realy worried about the authenticity of my guitar.
it came without the paper hang tag.
i asked to people while a forum of the brand, they told me it wasn't a real usa.
at least, they told me it was a joke, it's an original usa model.
i was realy stressed and disliked this job.
but anyway i m realy happy for my guitar.

Yeah, I think people were just having a joke at your expense. It's a legit guitar, and hang-tags get lost all the time..

That whole import SL2H archtop fiasco was a terrible idea. I still can't believe Jackson allowed it.

I think an SL2 and SL2H is pretty f'd up too.
But that could be because I am always dealing with very specific model numbers at the store, but I 'shorthand' it to be the main model when not a paperwork issue --- Like a D10CEQMSBwHS becomes a D10.
