  • NSD !! Natural top !

Gotten this off at ebay and was stunned by the beautiful natural flame maple top with mahogany body... took the plunge and was told its perfect without any dings or dents... shipped it to my country opened it up and was greeted by the beautiful flame maple top thats 1/4" not the old venner maple... took a check and dissapointed abit to have found a small ding at the back of headstock
... but its small and not that visible !

Tune up this pretty maple sugar and was how amazing this guitar was build !! Strung with 0.09s and relief is flat !! Straight flat out !! No relief at all !! Neck is straight !! And amazingly it has no buzz !!

Am lucky to have this at such a price thou there a small ding but its still cool

Do not adjust the truss rod for at least 7 days. It's flat now, but as it acclimates to its new home environment, it will shift. It will start to buzz and notes may choke out, but don't adjust the neck until you've had it for at least 7 days. If it still needs adjusting after that, do so. If the strings were completely loose when you got it, it's definitely going to shift.

Hey kind dude !! Thanks for your kind and good advise !! I will check it everynow and then... think i will only adjust the truss rod if needed... and this beauty will be the guidance point for my other two soloist i have... both my other soloist has a slight relief at 12 fret ~3mm...

Astonishing flame top !! Thanks... its a 2011 model and from what i see the build quality surpasses a custom select jackson soloist i got... i wonder why as i thought a custom select would be having far more care and quality control over... things like the ebony fingerboard is levelled smooth at the edge where the binding meets...

And the neck seam where the neck and binding meets has no bad binding routing job... none other than the small careless ding at the back of neck which i think it must have suffered at that guitar shop... its a very perfect well built guitar !!

I love those, but hate the chrome hardware. Change it out to black and it will be killer. Unwanted 2 cents, I know.

Yeah just a 2 cents thingy...i have seen far sex driven flame tops in my opinion... but i quess this is what i found to be the "one" and have seized it down !!

Since we cant get them to select according to the top we wanted if we ever to go "custom select"

A small ding on the back of the headstock? C'mon. Is it a player or a museum piece? :P
