  • Custom Shop Endorsee SLAT, trying to find more info

Howdy, first time poster, long time listener. I recently picked up this 2003 Archtop Soloist and am trying to find out some more info on it. Contacted Fender and all they know about it is that it's a 2003 make and was made as an artist/endorsee order. So I'm trying on the off chance to see if anyone has seen it around before or maybe knows who was the original owner. From what I can gather it's a mahogany neck, ebony board and I'm thinking mahogany body too.

Any info anyone may happen to have would be greatly appreciated.

Even so, it's quite a nice instrument, neck's more rounded than the usual Jackson fare and is extremely comfortable. Plus the attention to detail is typically high, even with the Gibson style contoured binding along the fret ends. Just need to remove the god awful bridge pickup and replace it with something else. Neck pickup is fine, one of the last owners custom ordered a Duncan Black Winter in an S size and it rips.

    Cheers

    It's very ESP-like isn't it?!

Do you know what the serial number is? Should be stamped at the body end of the fingerboard..

Jackson would still have paperwork detailing who it went to, sad to hear they weren't willing to really look for it or disclose that to you.

Gotta love having a guy with connections.

Was Chris Cannella also involved with that band?

Thank you sir, you're a gentleman and a scholar.

As as for the paperwork, this is all that the last owner could get out of them when he asked about it-
