  • King V Serial DMxxx

    Hey folks,

I have a black King V, made in USA, serial prefix DM.
Only thing I can find is that Dave Mustaine's guitar with anarchy
    stickers should have serial DM010.

Anyone who has info about these DMxxx King Vs ?

Have written to Jackson, but they couldnt help.

Yeah, the PCS KVs had the DM prefix..
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

        Thanks for the fast answers.

Only difference is that mine has 24 frets.
        Serial DM067.

24-fret PCS King V? When did that happen? Maybe it's one of those Musician's Friend runs?

according to this page Dave Mustaine's guitar with anarchy stickers
has serial DM010. But it also has 24 frets like mine.

Anyone who has a clue on these DM?

I read that the Musicians Friend guitars should have MF in the serial.

i count 24 frets on that anarchy guitar which this website
              claims to be DM010.

The Musicians Friend guitar should have MF in the serial?

I thought some of the MF models got DM numbers.

The Musicians Friend run all had the MF serial. The PCS had the DM serial prefix, and there were other custom models prior to the KV1 that had the DM prefix. Pictures would help, but if its a PCS it will have a tremolo, if its one of the custom shop versions it could have the Kahler 3300 bridge.
