    NGDx4 the late 80's edition

    The last part of 2015 resulted in acquisition of a soloist every year from late San Dimas through the end of the glorious 1980's in Ontario.

    1986 Soloist Student with OFR in turquoise all original San Dimas build.



    1987 Soloist custom. Original owner ordered in 85 but then made some changes that pushed delivery out to 87. All original except for HB pickup.


    1988 Soloist custom Candy Purple with matching headstock. JT6 swapped for OFR


    1989 Soloist Archtop Student. Rainbow Eerie Dess all original with shaded MOP logo

      Man, they're all great, but I especially love that Student Soloist. I'm dying to get a Jackson in that color!

            The candy purple Soloist Custom does it for me....but that turquoise student is right up there! Outstanding collection!

                            love every one of them. What a great haul. The colour of that awesome Student makes me want to spend the afternoon at the pool... in the 80s

                              Not sure they were a student model, they were custom pieces so you could get dots and no binding if you wanted I suppose.
                              The 88 archtop I had had binding and dots.
                              Soloists seem to be coming out of hibernation because the last few months I have snagged 2 Arch tops 1 SD soloist and a 94 soloist.
                              Good score you made all look great.
