  • 85 San dimas Rhoads wiring question

I recently acquired an 85 San dimas Rhoads. Would the neck volume normally be wired to the volume closest to the bridge pickup? the guitar is wired from front to back :Neck volume, bridge volume, tone. 3 way toggle. I prefer bridge ,neck tone. Can I just swap wires on pots around?

Yes, that sounds right. You can wire it any way you wish, though, and should be able to just swap the wires.

Yup standard Rhoads wiring is Neck Hum Volume - Bridge Hum Volume - Tone

Not sure how the capacitor on the tone pot will be affected.....if there is enough slack in the wiring you may physically be able to swap pot locations - but that would be to easy so I'm not betting on it .
