U serial number of course as already mentioned in the title. And please do not underestimate my ability to tell from the real one and fake. I have and had many US/CS jacksons and spent countless hours in jackson related forums.

                  Could it have been refinished?

Any idea on the year? I seem to recall various USA bolties from '89 or so without the USA logo.

Hard to tell from the pics, but appears the logo is not MOP? If so, makes me wonder if the headstock was refinished (the all-too common problem of clearcoat "ghosting"?) and an aftermarket logo applied. Otherwise, just further proof that there's always exceptions to the rule.

The logo is definitely MOP even only based on the pic
My guess would be that the headstock got refinished by jackson or somebody forgot to put the made in usa

Just to see if there is a better reason besides jackson fxxks up again

can't be much more difficult than forgetting to install a 24th fret lol
I made a rock n roll sin when I tried giving in to make money, had to turn down low.
