Wow! That was on eBay?!?! I must be blind. Better stop from constantly rubbing one out then.
            Congrats on the fiddle!

Is that a Kahler flip locknut I see, and is that a refin, more details please. Sure is purdy.

My guess is that it was originally a vintage trem. probably a refin but very professional.

                      Found this on it online:

                      http://www.ryanetics.com/gallery2012/large-13.html

They had it refinished by Michael Charvel and claim the rest of the guitar is original.

Not to harsh on your parade, but the originality is suspect. It looks to have been mod'd. VT converted to a (licensed?) Floyd. Odd looking posts there, too. And with a (poorly positioned) Kahler lock nut on the neck? And refin'd. I'm thinking most likely a parts mutt.

Looks pretty cool, though. Hope you like it.

It's a Schaller Floyd. I'll be able to tell when I get it but I figured all along it was originally a vintage trem converted to a Floyd. That would make sense with the lock nut. I'm not doubting the neck and body go together, still has the original San Dimas neckplate.
