Wow. They haven't allowed Charvel custom shop orders for more than a year now. And now they're denying Jackson custom shop orders, too?

Their business practices have gone just bizzaro. Why have a J/C custom shop, if customers aren't allowed to custom order anything?

Does seem very strange - perhaps it's a case of better to refuse than disappoint. But why keep churning out these dealer stock guitars that nobody ordered?..

I still don't know why they haven't released the import version sig model like they said they were a couple years ago...

That sucks. I have had a couple things denied as well, which is one of the reasons I starting looking at other companies to play. These days I am pretty much playing PRS and Musicman. I am really pleased with both.

Unless something changes, my next order might be with Suhr.

Nope. I've already compromised once or twice, even changing what would've been a custom shop order into a custom select, instead.

Next time, either they want the custom shop business or they don't. If not, I'll just be gone.

It's pretty obvious that the custom shop does not have the focus they once did..... I'd bet it's totally gone within a year or two...

They're too busy making one-off models for NAMM that nobody can ever order again... two Flying Vs (one that went to Musician's Friend, and one that went to Thomann in Europe) and the two Stratheads (H/H and H/S) that CMC Guitars got. Why bother making them in the first place if they won't make them again?!?
