  • Parallel loop with killdry options - TC Electronics

So I picked up a Marshall DSL401 and absolutely love it! If I had any complaints, it would be the parallel loop it has. I have found that some pedals work well in the loop, most being TC Electronics pedals. They also have an option to remove the dry signal from the path and only allow the wet signal to go through. (killdry) I have a Hall of Fame reverb behind a Feedback delay. I turn on the killdry option on both pedals and get no wet signal what so ever. Anyone else have these pedals and know the best way to set them?

Does either pedal work in the parallel loop by itself (ie. with only one pedal in the loop at a time)?

TC actually talk about running multiple pedals in a loop in their FAQ.

The crux: don't. Or do, but you'll need a mixer so that both pedals get the dry signal they require to do their job. With both pedals set to wet only, the second pedal doesn't receive a signal when the first pedal is bypassed. With the first pedal on, the second pedal is only receiving a wet signal to effect.

Thanks G! They do work by themselves, and they do work if they they are both set to true bypass. I'll give the doc a read and see what works best.

      Thanks again
